WE NEED TO BE FOCUS - MERTESACKER

Arsenal defensive player Per Mertesacker has informed team members not to get off track as they fight for a top four complete.

With competitors Chelsea
and Tottenham contrasting on Wed, Mertesacker knows all his side can do is focus on winning  their last two activities against relegation strugglers Wigan and Newcastle.

Mertesacker said: “Chelsea against Spur is a excellent activity for us, but both have it still in their own arms.

“We are in a having place. We cannot do anything on Wed.

“Anyway, we have to win both the activities that are arriving. We have to keep targeted and be assured.

“We have groups to deal with who are under stress. I think that creates it excellent for us and that we keep our focus on a very advanced stage.”
